Engy Sawah is an interdisciplinary PhD researcher in Social Work and Social Welfare Studies and Health Sciences at Ghent University, and a visiting fellow at the Institute for Migration Studies at the Lebanese American University. Her doctoral research examines the intersection of psychosocial and reproductive health among migrant domestic workers experiencing labour exploitation in Lebanon. She holds a Master of Science in Public Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine. Her research focuses on migration, health, and violence, with particular attention to how structural and socioeconomic conditions shape women’s access to care and overall well-being.
