Olivia Darby FRSA is a migration practitioner, researcher and advocate with nearly two decades of direct delivery experience spanning frontline youth work, European integration programmes, parliamentary advocacy and international fieldwork.
As Co-Founder and Chief Learning and Advocacy Officer of WONDER Foundation, she has designed and led multi-country programmes addressing citizenship and integration, asylum, ESOL access for women, safe migration, and migrant family education. Her work has been published, launched in Parliament, and presented at LSE, UCL, UNESCO and international conferences across Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australia.
She brings a practitioner's lens to research - grounded in programme delivery, community evidence and policy engagement rather than academic affiliation. Her current research and practice interests include migrant and refugee family psychosocial reintegration (including access to language learning and changing migrant identities) and the role of family engagement in migrant youth education and youth work in the UK.
Outside of WONDER she is also an advisor on migration to a member of the House of Lords, and has been a board member of an anti-trafficking charity working across England.
