I am a social worker (Ph.D) with master's degrees in Global Studies (Lund University), International Migration and Ethnic Relations (Malmö University), and Communication for Development (Malmö University). I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kassel in Germany. My research interests include (cross-border) child protection, transnational family relationships, child and youth welfare, labor market integration, and professionalization in social work. I have expertise in qualitative research and in conducting scoping and systematic reviews. I teach undergraduate social work classes on transnational families, child protection, case management, and ethics in social work.
