Dr. Tobias Santosh Großmann is a social scientist specializing in migration and labour mobility. His research focuses on qualitative approaches to labour migration, with particular attention to the historical and contemporary dynamics of care labour migration. His doctoral research examined the historical genesis of care labour migration from India to Germany in the 1960s. He currently works as a researcher in Research Field III “Migration and Integration: Monitoring and Series of Reports” at the Research Centre of the Federal Office. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and a B.A. in South Asian Studies from the South Asia Institute at Heidelberg University.
