Currently, I hold a postdoctoral researcher position at the Helsinki Institute of Urban and Regional Studies, University of Helsinki and I am leading a project on creative migrants' democratic participation processeses in Finland, fully funded by the Kone Foundation (2023-2026).
Alongside my academic research, I am an ethnographic filmmaker with a focus on migrant groups. Latest ethnographic film I have written and directed is Arkadaşloch - Nobody's Problem (2022).
